Living Stronger Longer
LIVING LONGER, STRONGER
Living longer is one thing. Living stronger is the goal.
We know more than ever about how our genetics, nutrition, hormones, muscle, bones and biomarkers can influence the way we age—and some of the old assumptions about what’s “inevitable” may be ready for retirement.
Join Taste & Talk for a smart, candid conversation with Dr. Abby Siegel, a Westchester-based functional medicine physician, along with Amy Bialek, PT and Jill Cantor, Integrative Health Coach and Classical Pilates instructor. We will explore what women should know now about building a stronger, healthier future.
We’ll be discussing the topics everyone seems to be talking about—but few fully understand: functional medicine and biomarkers, strength training, bone density, supplements, genetics and nutrigenomics, nutrition, and the rapidly evolving world of peptides. Which supplements have evidence behind them—and which are mostly hype? Why might something that benefits one person be wrong for another? What should you know before considering peptides, and how understanding your own biology helps you make more informed choices about your health.
We’ll also talk bones—because osteoporosis is not an “old lady disease.” The choices we make NOW matter: strength, nutrition, and bone health belong in the longevity conversation long before we think we need them.
